Susan Komen Race for the Cure 2010 (Bangor)

On September 19th my brother and I (circled in the photo below) ran the 2010 Susan Komen Race for the Cure in Bangor, Maine. We ran the 5k race with 5600 others and both of us finished in faster times than we expected. Our grandmother died of breast cancer at 58. We ran to run and we ran for her.

We’ll run this same race next year in both Portland AND Bangor and we want to see everyone out there this time! If I can run a 5k, anyone can run and/or walk 5k!
